Barry John Jarrett, 50, of Barnardsville, passed away Sunday, February 28, 2021. He is the son of Frances "Cricket" Haynes Jarrett and the late Steve John Jarrett and a lifelong resident of Buncombe County.

In addition to his mother, Barry is survived by his daughter, Lauren Greco (Geoff); son, Tristan Jarrett; sisters, Suzanne Jarrett and Sheila Jarvis (Tim); brother, Michael Jarrett; granddaughter, Emery Greco; nieces and nephews, Mason, Silas and Julian Banks, Jace Gaddis, Brandon & Haley Jarvis, Brooke Laster, Kendra Moss, and Kristen Jarrett.

A graveside service will be held at 12pm Thursday, March 4, 2021, at Dillingham Cemetery. Reverend Woody Dillingham will officiate. Tristan Jarrett, Jeff Austin, Mike Jarrett, Vance Bryson, Keith Ruehl, and Darian Fender will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends from 9:30-11am Thursday at Robbie Capps Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral Service.

COVID-19 restrictions will be mandated, and masks are required.

Barry was a loving son, father and grandfather who enjoyed using his woodworking skills while remodeling homes and was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting and fishing.
