Barry Alan Loflin, age 61, completed his work on Earth, March 5, 2024. He was born on August 24, 1962, in Stanly County to the late Clarence E. and Connie Loflin.

Barry was a loving partner, father and grandfather.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Sara Loflin; son, Christopher Loflin; and stepson, Austin Garrett.

Barry is survived by his partner of 23 years, Amy Garrett; daughters, Ashley (Stephen), Caitlyn (Todd), Emily (Dustin), Samantha (Tyler), and Faith (Derek); stepson, Frankie (Hayley); sisters, Shonda (Les), and Jaque (Chris); brother, C.J. (Rani); grandsons, Matthew, Landon, Max, Jax, Eli, Cole, Hunter, Hudson, and Zeke; and a granddaughter, Shelby.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday March 10, 2024, in Fairview United Methodist Church, Hot Springs. Reverend Randy Wood will officiate. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm prior to the service at the church.
