BENNY LEE METCALF
MARSHALL: Benny L. Metcalf, 51,of 466 Grant Metcalf Road, died Oct. 15, 2010 At John F. Keever Solace. He was born Oct.14, 1959 and a lifelong resident of Madison County. He was the son of the late Howard and Pearly Cody Metcalf. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by a sister Mary Jo Merck and a brother Billy W. Metcalf.
Mr. Metcalf is survived by a very special girlfriend Gail Reece, son Milton Metcalf and wife Brenna of Marshall, daughter Wilma Faye Metcalf of Chapel Hill, NC, two Grandchildren, Justin and Annie Metcalf, brother Kenneth Metcalf and wife Pat of Asheville, Sister Gladys Styles and husband James of Mars Hill, special cousin's Joyce Ramsey and Debra Buchanan, Several cousins, nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be at 2:00pm Sunday, October 17, 2010 at Metcalf-Bruce Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the cemetery.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Blue Ridge Funeral Service, PO Box 27, Mars Hill, NC 28754.
