BERTHA MOORE
MARSHAll – Bertha Moore, 69, passed away May 25, 2014 at Elderberry Healthcare. She is the daughter of the late Cloyd Norton and Ruby Curtis Norton. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, George Moore, her sister Irene Matcalf and a grandson, Anthony Clark.
Bertha is survived by her son, Willard Norton (Susie) of Weaverville, four daughters, Carolyn Johnson and fiancée, Roger Waldroud, Josie Norton and fiancée, Danny Tipton, Shirley Shelton and fiancée David Shelton and Jenni Shelton, one brother, George Norton (Millie), two sisters, Mary Clubd and Marie Harris (Earl), nine grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held 2:00 PM, Wednesday, May 28 at Culvin Creek Community Church. Reverends Ken Parker, Wade Rice and Jason Shelbe will officiate. Burial will follow at Shelton Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends starting at 1:00 PM Tuesday at the church.
