Betty "Louise" Capps Wilson, 83, of Marshall, NC, passed away January 14, 2025. She was the daughter of the late Denver and Dollie Marlor Capps. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Richard Baxter Wilson and a sister, Marie Capps.

Louise is survived by daughters, Carolyn Johnson (Brad), Jolena Hensley (Bruce), Sheila Craig (Randy Collins) and Donna Burnette (Jerry); sisters, Georgia Sluder, Ruth Reed, Ella Mae Sawyer and Nellie Helton; brother, James Capps; several grandchildren, great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held 2:00pm Thursday, January 16, 2025, at the Robbie Capps Memorial Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral Service. Reverend Brian Roberts will officiate. The burial will follow in the French Broad Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
