Billy (Bill) Dean Plemmons, age 70 of Allen Banks Road, Marshall passed away peacefully Wednesday, October 28, 2015. He was a native of Madison County and son of the late Emma Grooms Plemmons. In addition to his mother, he is preceded in death by his brother Edward Plemmons.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Carolyn Payne Plemmons; daughters, Tammy Boyd (Jeff), Billie Chandler (Alfred) both of Marshall and Paula Garrett (Charles) of Hot Springs; sister, Bonnie Chandler of Asheville; grandchildren, Brittany and Brandon Chandler, Tyler and Tiffany Garrett.
A funeral service will be held 2:00 PM Sunday, November 1, 2015 at Robbie Capps Memorial Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral Service. Rev. Joe Tomberlin will officiate. Burial will be held in the Bowman Rector Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
