Billy G. Culbertson, 95, of Hot Springs, NC, passed away Tuesday, August 1, 2023. He was the son of the late Doctor Hilliard and Bessie Lusk Culbertson and a native of Madison County. Billy is preceded in death by his wife Martha Waco Paris Culbertson, son, Billy Gray Culbertson II, and eight brothers and sisters.

Mr. Culbertson served his country as a MP for the Army Air Corp at Clark Air Force Base in the Philippines and was a member of Hot Springs Lions Club.

He is survived by his daughter, Jill Walters (Billy), and grandsons, Calvin (Danielle), Benjamin, and Blake Walters.

A graveside service will be held at 2pm Saturday, August 5, 2023, at Fairview United Methodist Church Cemetery. Reverends Doctor Harry Culbertson, Jr. and Randy Wood will officiate.

In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations to be made to St. Jude for Children's Hospital Memorial Giving, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.

At other times, the family will be at the home on 320 River Drive, Hot Springs, NC 28743.
