Billy Emory, age 89, Weaverville. Passed away peacefully Friday, December 26th, 2014 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He is the son of the late Benjamin and Nettie Collette Emory. He is preceded in death by a son, Boyd Emory. Billy is survived by his wife, Catherine Whitt Emory; children, Debbie Morris (Robin), Steve Emory (Judy), Warren Emory (Gwen), and Patrick Emory, all of Weaverville; grandchildren, Brian, Natalie, Christopher, Kellie and Melody and 10 great grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM Sunday, December 28th in the Robbie Capps Memorial Chapel at Blue Ridge Funeral Service. The funeral will be held at 2:00 PM Monday at Ivy Hill Baptist Church. Reverends Worth Emory and Danny Sprinkle will officiate. Burial will follow at Ivy Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.
