Bobby Charles Arrowood, 78, of Marshall, passed away May 3, 2025. He was the son of the late Charles and Madge Eloise Fox Arrowood. Bobby was a native and lifelong resident of Madison County and a graduate of the Mars Hill High School class of 1965. Bobby was a member of Shephard's Fold House of Worship, a proud truck driver of over 20 years and he retired from MSD in Asheville. He was a member of the French Broad Masonic Lodge and Mars Hill Shrine Club where he started the annual Shriner's Horseshow. Bobby was a founding member of the Madison County Fairgrounds. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a son, Ricky Arrowood; brother, Joe Arrowood; brothers-in-law, Kenneth Freeman and Hank Lancaster and a step grandson, Dalton Doan.

Bobby was a lifelong sportsman and had a particular enjoyment of hunting, fishing and riding horses.

Bobby is survived by his wife, Maxine Kinzenbaw Arrowood; children, Rex Arrowood (Betty) of Woodfin, NC, Rodney Arrowood (Cynthia) of Marshall, NC and Scott White of Mars Hill, NC; stepsons, Jeff Eckerich of Alexander, NC, Steve Eckerich (Vicky) of Fletcher, NC; sisters, Iva Freeman of Leicester and Dianne Smith (Jamie) of Buffalo, SC; grandsons, Darren (Hannah), Derek (Rachel); step grandsons, Chad, and Shawn (Stephanie); great grandchildren, Gabby, Gracie, Gage, Graylie, Maverek, Kamron, Dylan and Jason; one great great grandchild, Solomon and several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held 1:00pm Tuesday, May 6, 2025, at Robbie Capps Memorial Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral and Cremation Service. Reverends Donald Whitson and James Hensley will officiate. The burial will follow in the Madison Hills Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11:00-1:00pm prior to the service.

Serving as pallbearers will be Caden, Bobby Joe, Scott, Darren, Derek and Tyler and honorary pallbearers will be, Hoss Hudgins, Ted Roberts, and JB Sams
