Bobby Robert Ball, age 76, passed away Saturday, December 24, 2016. His was the son of the late Tony and Zetta Harwood Ball. He is preceded in death by a brother, Roland Ball.

He is survived by his wife, Ina Mae Ballard Ball; daughters, Belinda Ball, Brenda Benfield, and Susie Gentry (David); sons, Dale Ball, and James Ball (Angela; sisters, Ann Stafford, and Betty Jo Heath; eight grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.

Bobby was the former owner of Ball's Produce in New Bridge and served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm, Wednesday, December 28, 2016 in the Robbie Capps Memorial Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral Service. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm with Rev. Paul Riddle officiating. Burial will follow at Elk Mountain Community Cemetery in Woodfin.
