Bobby Lee Davis, 66, of Weaverville, went home to be with the Lord, on September 9, 2026. He was born on June 24, 1960, and was the son of Alene Pickren Davis and the late Bruce Davis.
Bobby had a deep appreciation for the simple pleasures in life. He loved spending time at the lake, where he enjoyed fishing and camping. He was also a talented carpenter and took great pride in working with his hands. Above all, Bobby treasured the people in his life and the time spent with family and friends.
In addition to his mother, Alene, Bobby is survived by his daughters, Tabitha Davis and Sabrina Chandler; son, Robert Davis; brother, Tommy Davis; and six grandchildren, Alex, Cooper, Bayleigh and Alyvia Davis, Colton and Taylor Chandler; special friends, Bobby and Lisa Honeycutt who he considered family.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 13, 2026, in the Robbie Capps Memorial Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral and Cremation Service. Reverend Roy McPeters will officiate. Burial will follow in Red Oak Cemetery in Alexander.
Serving as pallbearers will be his grandsons, Alex and Cooper; nephew, TJ Davis; and friends, Bobby Honeycutt, Bobby and Colby Blanton, Allen McCall, Mike King, W.P. and Wildon Fisher. Each of these men held a special place in Bobby's life, and their friendship and connection to him were deeply valued.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 12, 2026, at the funeral home. All other times the family will be at the residence, 3 Tommie Lane, Weaverville, NC 28787.
