Bobby M. Maynor, 60, of Barnardsville, NC, passed away on January 04, 2024 at CarePartners Hospice Solace Center. Bob was born to Groce and Vera Maynor in Asheville, NC on July 31st.

He leaves behind his two children Jessica and Matthew; four grandchildren, Bella, Grant, Kaidyn and Kinley, whom he adored; a very close son-in-law Matt; Matthew's longtime girlfriend, Risa, whom Bob loved like a daughter; and we cannot forget to mention his love, Lady Mae, the best trail dog.

Bob is preceded in death by his mother Vera, his father Groce and 3 siblings, Dobie Maynor, Bill Maynor, and Shelia Webb.

Bob was an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed spending his time in the Blue Ridge Mountains. He enjoyed passing on knowledge about the outdoors to his children and grandchildren. His hobbies were gardening, fishing, camping, and hiking. Bob's pleasant personality was contagious to everyone he met. He had a great sense of humor, and he had many stories of his adventures.

Bob, a father of two, will be sorely missed and loved forever. He has left many meaningful and happy memories for those who knew and loved him to last their lifetimes. Because Bob celebrated life everyday there will not be a formal funeral service. Bob's children are planning a hike to one of his favorite spots with family and close friends to celebrate his life at a later time.
