Bonnie Lynn Clinton Bullman, 62, after a strong and courageous battle with Leukemia, passed away on Thursday, November 20, 2025. She was born on May 30, 1963, and was a daughter of Henry and Barbara Ann Hensley Clinton.
Bonnie was a loving, faithful wife, mother and grandmother. She loved her family, tending to flowers and teaching. Bonnie graduated from Mars Hill University and was an elementary school teacher for over 20 years in the Buncombe County School system. She touched the lives of many children and was recognized as Teacher of the Year in 2024. Her warm smile will be remembered fondly. Bonnie was a member of Bethesda Missionary Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband of 44 years, Mark Bullman; daughters, Ashley Willis (Mitchell) and Whitney Bullman (Daniel); sisters, Robin Clinton Shepherd (Tommy) and Mary Beth Oberhofer (Andy); brothers, Ricky Clinton (Revonda) and Shorty Clinton (Teresa); two grandchildren, Adalyn and Henry; and many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 2:30 pm Sunday, November 23, 2025, in the Robbie Capps Memorial Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral and Cremation Service. Her son-in-law, Mitchell Willis and nephew, Clint Shepherd will officiate. Burial will follow in the Thomas F. Dillingham Cemetery, Barnardsville. The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm – 2:30 pm prior to the service at the funeral home.
