Brenda Jean Cook Dillingham of 177 Holcombe Branch Rd., passed away Friday, December 13, 2013 at her residence. She was born in Grainer County, TN to the late William Rex Cook and Hattie Adams Cook. Survivors include her husband. Edgar Dillingham, daughter, Amanda Warren (Aaron), sons; Ed Dillingham (Kristye), Robert Dillingham (Sue), Gary Dillingham (Stephanie) and Eddie Dillingham (Tiffany), sister, Tina Peavler, brothers, Clayton Cook, Michael Peavler, Farron , Paul and Charles Young, ten grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM Monday, December 16, 2013 at New Spring Church, Mars Hill. Dr. Gray Little will officiate. Burial will follow in Thomas F. Dillingham cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:00 – 1:00 PM prior to the service.
