Brett Scott Morton, 39, passed away on February 14, 2026. He was born April 3, 1986 in Lakeland Florida. Brett was a loving father and husband. He enjoyed cooking and worked in culinary management. Brett was a talented musician.

Brett is survived by his wife, Anne Turner Morton; daughter, Mary Jane Morton; father, Gary Morton; mother, Patricia Vogl Cohen (Dean); half-sister, Lila Morton; half-brother, Gary Morton, Jr; and close friends, Mattie Tompkins and Lee Scheuerman.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
