Brian Hughes, 22, of Swannanoa passed away February 8, 2025. He was the son of Shaun Hughes and Eva Noles. Brian was a loving son, husband, father and brother who knew how to make people laugh. He loved his family and motorcycles. Brian was everyone's best friend.

In addition to his parents he is survived by his wife, Shelby Lynn Holzhauser Hughes; son, Carter King Hughes; daughter to be, Brianna Lynn Hughes; sister, Christa Haylie Hughes; brother, Hunter Wayne Case; brother-in-law, Dakota Riddle; maternal grandmother, Lisa Noles, paternal grandparents, Joe and Cindy Hornback; nephew, Noah Staley; aunt and uncle, Chris and Meagan Barnett; cousin, Jason Barnett (Ava).

A memorial service will be held 2:00pm Friday, February 14, 2025, at Robbie Capps Memorial Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral Service. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
