Bronson Rice, 76, of Marshall, went home to be with the Lord, December 4, 2024. Bronson was born in Madison County to the late Theodore "Ode" Rice and Mae Waldrop Rice.

Also preceding him in death were his brothers, Ralph Rice, Winston Rice, twin brothers Roscoe and Huey Rice; and sister, Robbie Rice Davis.

Bronson loved his family, fast cars, horse trading and story telling with friends. He attended Mountain Grace Baptist Church in Marshall.

Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 52 years, Rita Kanarr Rice; daughters, Regina Bishop (David) of Burnsville, Angie Keith (Wesley) of Marshall, Brandy Shelton (Matthew) of Marshall, Mishael Howdahl (Scott) of Arizona; son, Bronson Rice, Jr. of Michigan; grandchildren, Morgan Silvers (Tim), Corey Keith, Peyton Payne (Taylor), Chesney Bishop, Wesley C. Keith, Riley Keith, Rickey Shelton (Haylee), Austin Shelton, Shana Buchanan (Robert); great grandchildren, Riley Silvers, Emberlee Shelton, Lainey Buchanan, Hudson Shelton; and many other special family members.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday December 7, 2024 in the Robbie Capps Memorial Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral and Cremation Service. Reverends Joe Robinson and Dennis Anderson will officiate. The burial will follow in the Ode Rice Cemetery, Grapevine Rd. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
