Mr. Calvin James Ramsey, 86, of Mars Hill, NC passed away Wednesday, February 1, 2023, at Care Partners Solace Center in Asheville, NC. Calvin was a native of Madison County, the son of the late Claude and Eunice Carver Ramsey. He was preceded in death by a brother, Carley Ramsey.

Calvin is survived by his loving wife: Evelyn Rice Ramsey; two sisters, Shelby Jean Metcalf and Willazene Ramsey; and a brother, Harlon Ramsey, and wife Geraldine.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 3, 2023, at 12:00pm in the Robbie Capps Memorial Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral Service with Rev. Dr. Harry Culbertson, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in Gabriel's Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. The Ramsey family will receive friends from 11:00am until 12:00pm prior to the funeral.
