Carl Andrew Chandler, 59 of N. Main Street, passed away Friday at his residence. He is the son of the late Eugene and Velma Lee Shelton Chandler. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother Larry Chandler. Carl is survived by his wife of 31 years, Patricia Chandler; sons, Gene Chandler, Kirk Ramsey, Mark Ramsey (Tamera) and Andy Chandler; sister, Catherine Higgins; brothers, Ricky Chandler (Anita), Alfred Chandler (Billie) Jimmy Chandler (Adele); grandchildren, Levi, Bentley and Gracie Ramsey; sister in law, Janice Chandler; special friends, Darrell and Joe Parris and Cindy Sexton, other friends, nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held 3:00PM Saturday, February 23, 2019 at Robbie Capps Memorial Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral Service. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
