Carl Wright, 81, of Mars Hill, NC, passed away on Saturday July 1, 2023. Carl was a stone mason and hard worker who loved gardening and raising his family, especially Kinsley, Kyleigh and Shelby who lived with him for years. He was a former deacon and member of Barids Cove Church and a current member of Ivy Creek Baptist Church

In addition to his parents, Carl is preceded in death by his wife Joyce Clubb Wright and daughter Stella Rice as well as her husband David.

Carl is survived by his daughters Freda Wright and Rhonda Christopher; sons Cecil Wright (Christine), Mark Wright (Roberta) and Damian Borowski; sisters Margie Carter and Dorothy McHone; brother Roy Wright; 13 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; one great-great grandson.

A funeral service will be held Wednesday July 5th, 2023, at 11:00am in Robbie Capps Memorial Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral Service. Reverend Larry Rogers will officiate. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. A burial will follow in Wright Cemetery.
