Carol Ann Johnson McLaughlin, 75, of Weaverville, passed away Saturday, July 17, 2021, at her home. She is a native of Kentucky and the daughter of the late Benjamin and Lavonne Johnson and retired as a beautician.

Carol is survived by her husband of 52 years, Robert "Bob" McLaughlin, sons, Chris and Jeff McLaughlin; sister, Marlene Crabtree; brother, Wayne Johnson; grandchildren, Ryan and Kara McLaughlin.

A funeral service will be held at 2pm Thursday, July 22, 2021, at Mt. Sheba Baptist Church, of which she was a member. Reverend Steve Rhinehart will officiate. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
