Carolyn "Flossie" Kay Gregg, 77, of Weaverville, passed away Sunday, March 24, 2024. She was a lifelong resident of Buncombe County and the daughter of the late Ferris and Jettie Hale Gregg.

Flossie was of the Christian faith and enjoyed traveling. She was a very loving, daughter, sister, aunt, and neighbor, who loved everyone and was willing to help in any way she could, especially cleaning her church when she was younger. Carolyn never missed a church service, bingo or singing, while she was able to attend, during her stay at the nursing facility,

She is preceded in death by a sister, Marie Bowlin and a brother Robert Gregg.

Flossie is survived by her special niece, Angela Leighton; sister, Eula Leighton; brothers, James Gregg and Ronnie Gregg (Beverly); and several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 3pm Friday, March 29, 2024, at Blue Ridge Funeral & Cremation Service. Reverends Delain Whittemore and Gary Coates will officiate. Burial will follow in Maney Branch Cemetery.

The family will receive friends prior to the service from 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm Friday March 29, 2024 at the funeral home..
