Carrie "Shirley" Crawford Bryant, age 83 of Weaverville passed away on Sunday, May 23, 2021. She is

the daughter of the late Lonnie and Bessie Hensley Crawford. In addition to her parents, she is preceded

in death by her husband Segal Wiley Bryant who passed away in 1979; and sisters, Lee Fisher, Faye

Bryant and Marsha Rogers.

She is survived by her daughters, Tammy Hemphill (Dan), Karen B. Haney (Avery) and Laurie Francine

Bryant; son, Eric Bryant (Jennifer); sisters, Alice Jamison, Colene Higgins. Brothers, Willie, Leonard,

Burlan, Carlie and Steve Crawford; grandchildren, Sara Howell, Harley Carver, Kathleen (Nikki) Snyder,

Colt Snyder, Hampton Haney, Sydney Wetmore, Jordan Jeter and Kelsey Trombatore; great

grandchildren, Addie, Maggie, Khale, Nevaeh, Callan, Cylus, Layla, Cade, Bennett, Eli, and Ethan and

several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 3:00PM Thursday, May 27, 2021 at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, 754

Aiken Road, Weaverville, NC 28804. Reverend Keith Watkins will officiate. Burial will follow in Ashelawn

Gardens of Memory. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
