Cathy Patman Peel, 78, of Mars Hill, passed away on Wednesday, March 19, 2025. She was a native of Texas, having lived the last several years in Madison County. She was the daughter of the late Lonnie Edward and Jessie Catherine Grant Patman. She is preceded in death by a son, Michael Edward Peel, and a grandson, Anthony Peel.

Cathy is survived by her husband, Jerry Peel; daughter, Sandra Fox (Travis), son, Jeff Peel (Missy); sisters, Glenda Logan (Jack), Gina Ranne (Glenn), Becky Milby (Richard), and Cyndi Hines (Freddie); step sister, Paula Selling (Hogie), and step brother, Arlan Ranne; grandchildren, JT Peel (Katie), Chris Peel, Jessica Fenske (Clint), and Jacob Cedillo; and great grandchildren, Raiden Fenske, Corbin, Oliver, and Emerson Peel.

A funeral service will be held at 11am Monday, March 24, 2025, at Calvary Baptist Church, where she was a long-time member. Reverend Glenn Graves will officiate. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. JT and Chris Peel, Clint Fenske, Jacob Cedillo, Erik Buckner, and Nick Hollifield will serve as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends from 3-5pm Sunday, March 23, 2025, at Blue Ridge Funeral & Cremation Service.
