Cecil Hyder of Asheville, 89, passed away Friday, October 16, 2015. He was the son of the late Rev. Carl B. and Connie Haynie Hyder. He is survived by his wife Nancy Willis Hyder, daughters, Dianne Moody (Thomas) and Linda Tweed (Greg); brothers, Carl Hyder, Jr. and Norman Hyder; grandchildren, Megan Tweed and Kim Garrison and great grandchild, Bella Garrison. Cecil was the former owner of Hyder's Grocery in Flat Creek. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM, Monday, October 19, 2015 at Ashelawn Gardens of Memory with Rev. Clark Henderson officiating.
