Charles Monroe "Chuck" Edwards, Jr. passed away peacefully with his family by his side on February 6, 2023 after a brief illness. Chuck was the son of the late Charles and Bonnie Edwards of Mars Hill.

He is survived by his sisters, Dale McKinney, Brenda Robinson, and Lenda Sprague; niece, Kelli Sprague; nephew, Cary Spague (Mary Ashley); and great-niece, Terra Reye Sprague.
