Charles Douglas Mullins, 75, of Candler, passed away Thursday, April 18, 2019. He is the son of the late Arlin and Martha Sowards Mullins. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a sister, Bernice Lucas and two brothers, Donald Wright and Terry Mullins.

Charles is survived by his wife of 49 years, Arlene Bushnell Mullins; children, Penny Hoglen (Rex), Doug Mullins (Trish), Terry Mullins (Melissa), and Theresa Bailey (Stacey); sister, Sally Muse (Miles); ten grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held at 12pm Monday, April 22, 2019, at Stoney Fork Baptist Church, of which he was a member. Pastor Jeff Massey will officiate. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

Charles was a loving husband and father who loved his Heavenly Father.
