Charles Henry Zibelin III, 88, of Marshall passed away on Sunday, February 13, 2022. He was born to the late Charles Henry Zibelin II and Lula Belle Williams on September 9, 1933, in Buncombe County, NC; in addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife Edith Ammons Zibelin, who passed away in 2017. Charles was a US Army Veteran, formerly employed with Ball Manufacturing and retired from The Biltmore House in Asheville as a security guard. He enjoyed reading his bible, cooking, hiking and spending time outdoors.

Charles is survived by his son, Charles Zibelin; daughters, Beth Wilson, Janeen O'Kelley; brother, Joel Zibelin (Pat Chastain); grandchildren, Tim Zibelin (Christy), Sarah Lindsey (Jesse), Andrew Garrett Coleman, Dorsey Elizabeth Coleman; and ten great grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held at 12:00 pm Tuesday, February 22, 2022, in the Robbie Capps Memorial Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral Service. Rev. Troy Rogers will officiate. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at 2:00 pm at the Western Carolina State Veterans Cemetery in Black Mountain.
