Christine Capps Medford, 89, of Candler, NC, passed away January 23, 2021. She was the daughter of the late Andrew and Emma Roberts Capps. Christine was a member of White Rock Baptist Church and retired from Vanderbilt Shirt Company. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, JR Medford, who passed in 1995, sister Anna Mae Coward and a brother, Dewey "Bud" Capps.

Christine is survived by a son, Michael Medford (Sara); sister Adeline Gahagan; grandsons, Jesse Jones and Talon Medford; great grandchild, Riley Jones and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will held 2:00pm Friday, January 29, 2021 at Pisgah View Memorial Park. Reverend Brad Parker will officiate.
