Christopher William Goodlake, age 21, passed away Sunday, June 21, 2020. He is the son of Billie Goodlake and Shannon Capps, both of Weaverville. Christopher was a supervisor with Asheville Paint and Powder Coat Co.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his sisters, Aliyah Minick of Woodfin and Angel Norton of Alexander; brother, Trevor Goodlake of Weaverville; grandmother, Judy Smith of Weaverville; grandfathers, Joe Goodlake (Shirley Chambers) of Arden; and David Capps of Weaverville.

A funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM Friday, June 26, 2020 at Robbie Capps Memorial Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral Service. Pastor Sonia Burleson will officiate. Burial will follow in the Family Cemetery, Herron Cove Road, Weaverville, NC. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
