Cleophas "CP" Ramsey, 90, passed away Friday, November 8, 2024. He was born on June 4, 1934 in Madison County. He was the son of the late Fred and Lillie Franklin Ramsey.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 62 years, Edith Gosnell Ramsey, and sister, Dorothy L. Chandler (MV).

Left to cherish his memory is his daughter, Connie R. Chandler (Danny); two grandchildren, Felicia Clark (Jesse), and Aaron Chandler (Kassie); four great grandchildren, Landon, Rylan, Brantley and Paisley; sister, Linda R. Corn (Larry); his precious grand dog, Casper, whom he loved dearly; many nieces and nephews; and his special Club and Burger Parlor friends.

The family would like to give a special thank you to Madison Home Care and Hospice, specifically his nurse, Paige, who he loved for taking such great care of him as well as a special niece, Lucy and her husband Alan Norton, during his last days here with us.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Thursday November 14, 2024 in the Robbie Capps Memorial Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral and Cremation Service. Reverend Ken Parker will officiate. Serving as pallbearers are, Alan Norton, Greg Payne, Mickey Chandler, Leonard Cutshall, Morris Lisenbee and Greg Massey. Burial will follow in Bullman Cemetery, Marshall.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 pm – 2:00 pm prior to the service at the funeral home.
