Clyde Luther Hagan, 81, of Marshall, passed away on Tuesday, September 17, 2024. A native of Madison County, he was the son of the late Luther Jake Hagan and Zetta Riddle Hagan.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Donna Elizabeth Tweed Hagan and a brother-n-law, Terrell Humphfrey.

He was a graduate of Marshall High School, Class of 1961. Clyde proudly served his country in the Army Reserves. He retired from First Citizens Bank after 31 years. He sang bass with the Skylanders Quartet for over 50 years. Clyde served the Madison County Soil and Water Conversation District, as an elected official for 35 years. He never met a stranger and was always first in line to help others. He served on numerous boards and committees thru out his life, and was an avid Golfer.

He is survived by his daughter, Lori Massey and her husband, David of Marshall: one grandson, Derek Lane Massey: and two sisters, Velda Freeman (Albert) and Joyce Humphfrey.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, September 21, 2024 at Blue Ridge Funeral and Cremation Service. The family will receive friends from 1-2 prior to the service at the funeral home.
