Connie Sue Anders Carver, 57, of Barnardsville, passed away on Saturday, May 16, 2026. She was a lifelong resident of Buncombe County and the daughter of Janet Phillips Anders and the late Robert Anders. Connie is preceded in death by her husband, Rodney "Junior" Carver and a brother, Billy Anders.

Connie had a deep love for the beach and for animals, and her kind, welcoming nature ensured she never met a stranger.

Connie is survived by her daughter Haley Carver Summey (Charles), sons, Brandon Anders (Elizabeth) and Dakota Carver (Morgan); brothers, Bobby Joe Anders (Shannon), Danny Anders, and Roger Anders (Sherry); grandchildren, Charlie Anders, Alyssa Summey, Melody Anders, and Alayah Summey; partner, Aaron Brigmon; several nieces and nephews, and special friends, Sherry Rice, Kerri Parker, Evonna Emory, and Kathleen Hale.

A graveside service will be held at 1pm Tuesday, May 19, 2026, at Holcombe Branch Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Blue Ridge Funeral Service, 7626 Hwy. NC 213, Mars Hill, NC 28754, to assist the family with funeral expenses.
