Connie King Hunter, 71, of Weaverville, passed away Friday, January 12, 2024. She was the daughter of the late Alfred and Mable King and retired from Square D after 29 years of employment.

In addition to her parents, Connie was preceded in death by her husband, Roger Dale Hunter; fiancé, Dwight Wiles; and a brother, Tinker King.

She is survived by her daughter; Kristen Bingle (Jeremy); grandchildren, Ethan Cutshall and Logan Bingle; brothers, Soso King, Tony King, and Timmy King (Karen); special cousins, Randy Tweed (Lisa) and Casey Tweed; and stepson, Scott Scovil.

A memorial service will be held at 1pm Sunday, January 21, 2024, at Robbie Capps Memorial Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral Service.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Blue Ridge Funeral Service, PO Box 27, Mars Hill, NC 28754, to assist the family with final expenses.
