Curtis "Roundman" Howard Rice, 77, of Mars Hill, passed away July 27, 2021. He was the son of the late Howard and Glenna Fox Rice. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife Linda Lou Edmonds Rice and daughter Jennifer McKinney. Curtis worked full time for Silvers Body Shop from 1962-1972 and worked and retired form Albany International before returning to Silvers Body Shop in 2000. He was also a member of Jack Ingram Racing Team.

He is survived by a daughter Teresa Tweed (Wade); son-in-law, Jason McKinney; sister, Joann Jenkins (Bill); brother, Billy Rice (Debbie); grandchildren, Tucker and Chastity McKinney; niece and nephews, Autumn Roberts, Dillard, Travis, and Hunter Rice.

A graveside service will be held 10:00am Saturday, July 31, 2021, at Gabriels Creek Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Dr. Harry Culbertson officiating.

The family would like to thank the staff at Emerald Ridge, his special hospice nurse, Karen, and hospice Chaplin Cindy for their care.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Blue Ridge Funeral Service to assist the family with final expenses.
