Cindy Elkins Thomas, 37, of 30 Brad Anna Lane, went to her final resting place on December 12, 2015 at her residence. Cindy was the daughter of Everette and Carolyn Ricker Elkins. She was a wonderful daughter, Mother and Wife. Cindy was loved by everyone and her personality would brighten everyone's day. She was formerly employed by Blue Ridge Group Homes and was a member of Oak Ridge Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents she is also survived by her husband, Lee Thomas, son, Brad Elkins, daughter, Anna Belle Thomas of the home and sister, Connie Elkins.

A funeral service will be held 2:00pm Wednesday, December 16, at Robbie Capps Memorial Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral Service. Reverends Larry Sprouse and Steve Freeman will officiate. The burial will follow in the Sprouse Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12-2:00pm prior to the service.
