Kenyon "Dal" Peek, 70, of Phillips Valley Rd., passed away Wednesday, April 13, 2016. He was the son of the late Roland and Lela Cook Peek. Dal attended Mars Hill College, ETSU, then went into the United States Air Force and graduated with military honors. He was the Chief Deputy with Madison County Sheriff Department for 12 years and later retired with Ingles in Weaverville.

He is survived by his children; Randy Peek (Tina), Danny Peek (Crystal), Rodney Peek (Anita), Shea Reed (T.J.), Tyffani Peek, Mellany Peek, grandchildren; Austin, Madison, Burgin, Harris, Mason, Kenyon, Zade, and Ezra.

The funeral service will be held 7:00 PM Saturday, April 16, in Robbie Capps Memorial Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral Service. Reverend Freddie Bishop will officiate. A private burial will be held in the Peek-Dill Cemetery. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service. At other times the family will be at, 451 Hill Merrill Road, Mars Hill.
