Dallas "Bruce" Williams, 68, of Weaverville, passed away Thursday, October 5, 2023. He was the son of the late Britt and Juanita Lloyd Williams and a native of Madison County.

Bruce was a US Army veteran who served during the Vietnam Era. He retired from the VA Hospital and attended Ivy Ridge Church of God. Bruce enjoyed fishing, hunting, cheering on his favorite team the Las Vegas Raiders, and volunteering at his church. Most of all, he loved spending time with his granddaughter, Kynzlee, who he adored very much.

In addition to his parents, Bruce is preceded in death by his sister, Marsha Nash.

He is survived by his son, Anthony Bruce Williams; sister, Jeanette Williams; brothers, David Williams (Gail) and Calven Williams (Leah); granddaughter, Kynzlee Nicole Faith Williams; nieces, Amber and Brittany Williams, and Amanda Kabore (Fabrice); nephews, Justin Williams (Amy) and Michael Williams (Amanda); and several great nieces, great nephews, and cousins.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 3pm Friday, October 13, 2023, at Robbie Capps Memorial Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral Service. Reverends Raymond Cantrell, Michael King, and Doyle Lloyd will officiate. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
