David C. Anders, 68, of Mars Hill, died peacefully in his sleep February 18, 2015 at his home. He is the son of the late Carl M. Anders, Jr., and Mary Irene Anders. He is survived by a son, Shannon Anders of Mars Hill; brothers, J. Richard Anders and Dennis L. Anders, both of Mars Hill; sisters, Dianne L. Cody of Mars Hill and Annette Parker of Barnardsville; one niece, Renea Jodry of Mars Hill; two nephews, Scott Wheeler and Jeremy Harwood of Barnardsville and loving companion, Holly Murray of Mars Hill. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM Friday, March 13 at Pisgah Forest Freewill Baptist Church, North Fork Road, Barnardsville with Rev. Bobby Sprinkle officiating.
