David Lawson of Kernersville, NC, 88, passed away at his home Monday, June 18, 2018. He was the son of the late Fred and Stella Gragg Lawson. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by two daughters, Ann Elizabeth Lawson and Janice Marie Lee; sisters, Juanita Tolley and Mattie Ray Ramsey and a brother, Julius Lawson.

He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Helen Lewis Lawson; daughters, Cheyrl Roig (Rick) and Nancy Carroll (Scott); son, Steven Lawson (Christine); 13 grandchildren, and 13 great grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm, Thursday, June 21, 2018 at Fairview United Methodist Church with Rev. Randy Woods officiating. Mr. Lawson will be placed in the church one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at the church cemetery.
