Hot Springs: David Ledford, 77 of Hwy 209, passed away Tuesday, September 22, 2015. He was the son of the late Eulas Vernie and Faye Rogers Ledford. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by daughter Jennifer, four brothers and daughter-in-law, Kathy Ledford. Mr. Ledford was a US Air Force Veteran, member of Linden Masonic Lodge #83 AF&AM, Looneyville, WV, and member of Fines Creek Memorial Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife Shirley Clark Ledford; daughters, Julie Ledford (Tim), Joyce Ledford (Darrell); son, Todd Ledford and son-in-law, Richard; sister, Margaret Balding (Hugh); grandchildren, Kenneth Ledford, Kenneth Teague (Ashley), Matthew Ledford, Jorden Ledford, Jesse Ledford, Jennifer Ledford, Jackson Ledford; four great grandchildren; nieces, Sherry Riddle, Amanda (Chris), Renee; nephews, Travis, Jeff and Mark. David also leaves behind his best "friend" dog, Otis. A graveside service will be held 2:00PM Thursday, September 24, at Gap of the Mountain Cemetery, Spring Creek.
