Bruce Dean Ogle left his Mars Hill home on January 29, 2025 at the age of 64 to be with the Lord. He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Brenda Jarrett Ogle, and daughter, Jade Ogle, as well as his parents, Joe & Christine Ogle of Mars Hill. Dean was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, John & Belle Ogle and Clarence & Annie Hale, and his father-in-law, Hubert Jarrett.

Dean was a self-employed car dealer, though he was able to sell anything with a motor and wheels. He knew cars inside and out; there wasn't a single vehicle he couldn't fix up and have back on the road. Dean was also a Gideon in the Madison County district.

He was well-known in the Madison community and many surrounding communities. Dean was notorious for his outgoing, friendly personality and never met a stranger. He always had a story to tell and laughs to share. Dean could most often be found enjoying a few scoops of ice cream accompanied by his family and friends.

The family will receive friends at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, February 4, 2025 in the Robbie Capps Memorial Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral and Cremation Service followed by the funeral service at 2:00 p.m. Reverend Ben Whitmire and Matthew Griffin will officiate. Burial will be in the Gabriel's Creek Baptist Church Cemetery immediately after the service.
