Debra "Debbie" Jean Harris Shelton, 67, of Asheville, NC, passed away on Saturday, December 21, 2024. She is daughter of the late Elmer David and Verna Mae Edwards Harris. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sisters, Nina Ann Ingle and April Riddle.

Debbie is survived by her husband of 26 years, Billy Shelton; momma's babies, Samantha Barton (Earl), Candi Holston (Harold Webb), Marsha Shelton, Bill Shelton, Daniel Shelton (Kalyn), Ashley Holston, Cameron Shelton, Chris Shelton, Akira Shelton, Aleah Shelton, Grayson Shelton, Emma Barton, and several more who considered her their momma; sister, Pamela Talley.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, December 27, 2024 at Robbie Capps Memorial Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral and Cremation Service. Reverend Larry Moore and Jason Hyatt will officiate. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. A burial will follow at Ashelawn Gardens of Memory, Asheville.
