Dennis Lane Ammons, 54, of Mars Hill, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, August 6, 2025. He was a lifelong resident of Madison County and the son of Paula Metcalf Ammons and the late Doyle Ammons.

Dennis is survived by his wife, Memory Ammons; daughters, Carrie Lane Ammons (Kaleb Worley), Abigail Brown (Dakota), and Samantha Crowder; sons, Dalton Ammons and Joseph Ammons (Ava Clark); brothers, Chris Ammons (Brandy) and Jonathan Ammons (Becky); two nieces and two nephews.

He was a loving and caring husband, father, son, brother and friend. He was a hard worker, who would do anything for his family and will be missed deeply.

The family will hold a private service at a later date.
