Dennis Lee Chandler, 69, of Alexander, passed away on December 29, 2024. He was born on August 2, 1955 to the late Fred and Nellie Buchanan Chandler.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Deborah Hensley and brother, Kenny Fred Chandler.

Dennis is survived by his life partner of 33 years, Donna Honeycutt; daughter, Michelle Honeycutt; sons, Robert Honeycutt (Amanda) and Fred Lee Chandler; sister, Wanda Slater; brother, David Chandler; and seven grandchildren.

Dennis enjoyed the outdoors and loved to fish.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm Sunday, January 5, 2025 in the Robbie Capps Memorial Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral and Cremation Service. Reverend Larry Sprouse will officiate.
