Denny "Kyle" Goforth, age 40, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 1, 2023. He was born on May 23, 1983 in Buncombe County to Denny and Debra Hunter Goforth.

Kyle worked for Timberline and was on the powerline groundmen crew.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his son, Terry Bartlett (Ricki); brother, Wade Goforth; and a grandchild, Tucker Bartlett.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday August 4, 2023, in the Robbie Capps Memorial Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral Service. Reverend Matthew Honeycutt will officiate. Burial will follow in the Dry Pond Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm Friday, prior to the service.
