Diane Metcalf Ramsey, born Feb. 28, 1953, entered her eternal home in heaven on August 2, 2023. She was met at the gates by her son, Chris Ramsey, and sister, Marcia Rice, where we are certain there were long, long hugs and lots of laughter. She was also preceded by her parents, 2 brothers, and many friends.

Her spirit will be carried here by her sister, Trisha Smith; daughter, Mindy Ramsey; granddaughter, Rachel Ramsey Rhodes and husband Rylan; daughter-in-law, Shelley Ramsey and the lights and joys of her life, granddaughter, Addy Ramsey; two great grandchildren, Chrislynn and Cason Rhodes; many special nephews, nieces, and countless others who knew her as Mama D, Nana, and Miss Diane, all of whom she cherished every moment she spent with.

She loved flowers, gardening, hummingbirds and had an incredible god given gift to make everybody she came into contact with feel loved.

A private family ceremony will be held at a later date to celebrate but if you wish to honor her, speak softly and kindly to one another, tell people you love them, and show them that you mean it.
