Don Wesley Honeycutt, age 81, passed away on June 4, 2024. He was born on September 26, 1942, in Yancey County, to the late Joe and Etta Mae Wilson Honeycutt.

Don worked in the construction industry.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his sisters, Wilma Honeycutt, and Marie Chapman; and brothers, Junior, Ed, Clifford, and Fred Honeycutt.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Ruby Rice Allen; daughter, Vicki McMinn (Mark); sons, Ronnie Allen (John), Don Honeycutt, Jr. (Kylie), and Shannon Allen (Kelly); and two grandchildren, Tristan Robinson, and Samantha Younce.

A visitation time for the family will be held from 11:00 am – 12:00 noon on Tuesday, June 11, 2024 at in the Robbie Capps Memorial Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral Service. A graveside service is planned for after the visitation.
