DONALD LEE SHELTON MARS HILL: Donald L. Shelton,68, of Upper White Oak Rd., died June 23, 2012. He was a native of Madison County and the son of the late Henry Garfield and Mary Etta Rice Shelton. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by a sister; Babe Shelton; brothers; Harold, Robert and Carl Shelton. He is survived by daughters; Donna Gibson (Bruce) and Sherry Wilde-Harwood (David) all of Mars Hill; sisters; Alma Rice and Patsy Grooms; brothers; Avery and Buster Shelton; 8 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6-8:00pm, Friday, June 29 at Sherry and David Harwood's Residence, 77Gabriels Greek Church Rd., Mars Hill, NC 28754. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Blue Ridge Funeral Service, PO Box 27, Mars Hill, NC 28754, to assist the family with final expenses.
