Doris Jean Rich Fisher, 77, of 1787 Metcalf Creek Loop Rd. passed away Wednesday May 15, 2013. She was a lifelong resident of Madison County and daughter of the late Hubert and Jean Hamlin Rich. She is also preceded in death by her husband Roy O. Fisher, sister Damaris Propst and brother J. C. Rich. Mrs. Fisher was a member of Beech Glen Baptist Church. Mrs. Fisher is survived by daughters, Belinda Putnam, Mary Alice Huskins, Martha Fisher; brother Ronald Rich; grandchildren, Heather Burgess , Brandon and Tyler Fisher and four great grandchildren. Graveside services will be held at 11:30 am Saturday, May 18, 2013 at Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Stanley Peek will officiate. The family will receive friends Saturday, from 10:00–11:00 a.m at Robbie Capps Memorial Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral Service.
